What to expect:

I work with adolescents and adults ages 15 & up. All appointments will be by HIPAA compliant telehealth. At times, we may agree to meet in person for ecotherapy or art therapy.

My services are best suited for self-motivated clients who are willing to work on themselves outside of our session times. It's not a good fit if you're in crisis or need closely monitored help.

Cash pay clients:

Free 15-30 minute consultation prior to making your first appointment to discern if we are a good fit.

As of June 2024 this practice will be modeled on a gift economy. The market value of a one hour session with a therapist of this level of expertise is $175 - $250. These appointments are offered on a sliding scale from $75 - $250. For those who can pay more, your generosity supports others who otherwise would not be able to afford such care. Each client will receive the same quality of service regardless of the amount paid.

Some times in our lives we are able to give, other times we are able to receive.

Gift economy and ideas modeled after Dr. Cynthia Li whose website can be found here: https://cynthialimd.com/ and Service Space whose website can be found here: https://www.servicespace.org/

Insurance clients:

Currently I am in-network with Florida United Healthcare/Optum. I will no longer accept health insurance after July 2024. I can provide superbills for those with out-of-network benefits with other insurance plans. Insurance sessions are 53 minutes.

Forms of payment: All major credit cards, HSA, and debit cards accepted. No shows and cancellations less than 24 hours are charged at full rate.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
